Why does it cost money?
The River Kitty Cat Café is owned and operated as a program of the Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS). The VHS is a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit organization committed to helping homeless animals in our community. The lounge fees and all proceeds from our café help to fund our mission.

Make a reservation!
Arrive 10 minutes early.
Purchase beverages if desired. (No food allowed in RK Lounge)
Relax and cuddle kitties!
Please note that our kitty lounge has a capacity of 10 patrons at a time. If you are planning to walk in for a 30 minute visit you may encounter a wait. Reservations will be accommodated first and then walk ins. If you are short on time and want to guarantee your entry time, reservations are highly recommended.
We want you to enjoy your experience at River Kitty Cat Café. For the safety of our kitties , please review our lounge rules and remember that animals can be unpredictable, so please be gentle with them.

PLEASE SANITIZE YOUR HANDS BEFORE ENTERING THE LOUNGE
13 YEARS OF AGE AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
LIMIT OF (3) CHILDREN PER EVERY (1) ADULT
CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES
PLEASE KEEP YOUR VOLUME LEVEL LOW AND BE GENTLE WITH THE KITTIES
